Victor Manchik
Founder and principal data architect
Victor has spent 24 years in higher-education planning, research, and data, working on both sides of the IT and institutional research divide. He designs and builds modern data platforms, semantic models, and governed AI for colleges and universities, with deep experience in Ellucian Banner, MIS, IPEDS, SCFF, and accreditation reporting.
He is completing the Wharton Chief Technology Officer program (March 2027), and brings that strategy and technology-leadership perspective to every campus roadmap.
Larger engagements are delivered with a small, vetted bench of senior data engineers and BI developers. Victor leads every engagement personally.

What I believe
My approach was shaped by Peter Drucker's work on effective organizations and tested over 24 years inside colleges. A data platform is only worth what it helps an institution accomplish for its students and its community.
- Ask the five questions first
- Mission, customer, value, results, and plan. Answer them before choosing a platform.
- Make strengths productive
- IT brings systems and security, research brings meaning, and the operational offices bring context. Shared governance makes them work together.
- Focus on results that matter
- For a college, that means students and communities: completion, transfer, mobility, and equity.
- Turn data into information
- Data becomes information only with relevance and purpose: shared definitions, business rules, and context.
