About the Role
NvLynx Analytics is hiring a Business Analyst to join our San Francisco office. This role is designed for early-career professionals who want to build a foundation in analytics-driven consulting.
As a Business Analyst, you will support engagement teams across a variety of industries and project types. Your work will range from market research and data analysis to financial modeling and presentation development. Every project is an opportunity to learn and grow.
You will receive structured mentorship from senior consultants, regular feedback, and a clear path for professional advancement. Many of our most senior team members started in this exact role.
Responsibilities
- Support client engagements by conducting research, analysis, and data gathering
- Build financial models, market sizing analyses, and competitive landscapes
- Prepare clear, well-structured presentations and client deliverables
- Assist with data cleaning, transformation, and exploratory analysis
- Participate in client meetings and workshops, contributing insights and observations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including analysts, engineers, and partners
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field
- 0–2 years of professional experience (internships count)
- Strong analytical and quantitative reasoning skills
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with SQL is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Intellectual curiosity, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior internship experience in consulting, finance, or analytics
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Basic programming skills in Python or R
- Experience with case competitions or analytical projects during university

Compensation & Benefits
$85,000 – $110,000
Annual base salary
