About the Role

NvLynx Analytics is looking for a Strategy Consultant to join our growing Consulting practice in Chicago. In this role, you will work directly with C-suite executives and senior leaders to solve their most pressing strategic challenges.

Our engagements span corporate strategy, market entry, growth acceleration, and operational transformation. You will be expected to structure ambiguous problems, lead research and analysis, and develop recommendations that are both rigorous and actionable.

This is a high-visibility role with rapid professional growth. You will have the opportunity to shape engagement direction, mentor associates, and contribute to the firm's intellectual capital through thought leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategy workstreams across multiple concurrent client engagements
  • Develop structured frameworks to address complex business questions
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and financial modeling
  • Synthesize findings into compelling narratives and executive presentations
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with client stakeholders
  • Contribute to proposal development and business development efforts
  • Mentor junior team members and support their professional development

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from a top-tier university; MBA or equivalent strongly preferred
  • 3–6 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or investment banking
  • Exceptional problem structuring, analytical reasoning, and quantitative skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication — ability to distill complexity into clarity
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% for client engagements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience at a top-tier consulting firm (MBB, Big Four strategy)
  • Deep expertise in one or more of: financial services, healthcare, technology
  • Experience with data analytics tools and comfort working alongside technical teams
  • Track record of published thought leadership or industry presentations

Compensation & Benefits

$130,000 – $170,000

Annual base salary

  • Competitive base salary plus performance-based bonus (15–25% target)
