Engagement Manager
Lead client engagements end-to-end. You will manage teams, own client relationships, ensure delivery excellence, and contribute to growing the practice.
About the Role
NvLynx Analytics is seeking an experienced Engagement Manager to lead complex, multi-workstream client engagements. This is a senior role that combines project leadership, client management, and team development.
You will be the primary point of contact for clients, responsible for ensuring that our work delivers measurable value. You will scope engagements, allocate resources, manage timelines, and maintain the quality bar across all deliverables.
Beyond delivery, you will play a key role in business development — identifying expansion opportunities within existing accounts, contributing to proposals, and helping to shape the direction of our consulting practice.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multi-workstream client engagements from scoping through delivery
- Serve as the primary client relationship owner, ensuring satisfaction and trust
- Manage engagement economics — budgets, utilization, and profitability
- Coach and develop team members, providing regular feedback and growth opportunities
- Identify and pursue engagement expansion and cross-sell opportunities
- Contribute to proposals, thought leadership, and firm-building initiatives
- Ensure all deliverables meet NvLynx quality and analytical rigor standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred
- 7+ years of experience in management consulting, with at least 2 years in a delivery leadership role
- Proven track record of managing complex engagements and senior client relationships
- Exceptional communication, executive presence, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong commercial instincts and experience contributing to business development
- Ability to manage ambiguity and drive clarity for teams and clients
- Willingness to travel up to 50% for client engagements
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience at a top-tier consulting firm in a Manager or Senior Manager role
- Deep expertise in analytics, digital transformation, or strategic planning
- Track record of growing client accounts and building long-term partnerships
- Experience building and managing high-performing teams
